Czech aroma landrace variety from the area of the same name, very mild with pleasant hoppy notes. Saaz is recommended for the second and third hopping. It may be also used for dry hopping. It's widely used across all the notable Czech Pilsners and helps define that beer style. It's equally happy in continental-style Pilsners, Helles & American Light, Bock lagers and lighter Ales. It's aroma can be both woody and herbal while it can create a flavour profile including bergamot, honey, woody, camomile tea and spice.
